The blue color from the one side changed the color of the front pattern to a blue green color and the stuffing inside clumped together. The comforter is completely ruined. I’m very disappointed. I followed instructions using commercial size washer, cold water and dryer, on delicate. Took out of dryer as soon as it stopped and it is a lump of wrinkled mess. My cotton comforter always has no wrinkles even when it sits in the dryer. Worse yet is the stuffing separated, is no longer at the edges of material, and even feels torn in some spots. I have a dog that has bladder problems and often has little incidents on the spread. I have washed it many times and it has not lost it's shape shrank in the dryer. Great colors and they have not faded. I love a heavy comforter that is still cool in the summer because I can't sleep with just a sheet and don't like a blanket. This one is perfect for me. Cool in the Summer and warm in the winter. If you are a matching freak like me, their are many matching accessories and not very expensive in my opinion. The color is beautiful and it adds a richness to my room. I wanted something "beachy" and this does the job. I only used one of the enclosed throw pillows and added some of my own with seashells and/or beach theme pictures. It is a bit heavy/warm for California, but then again most spreads are so I just fold it down on the hottest nights. I love the fluffiness and the cozy feel of it.
